Jill's Paris Marathon
On 3rd April 2016 I'll be competing in the Marathon de Paris to raise money for Chance for Childhood.
CFC are an amazing charity who really help to change the lives of vulnerable children in Rwanda.
I was lucky enough to go and see the work they do for local African communities in 2015 and witness the many ways in which their hard work changes children's lives for good. They support 2 rural deaf schools, a vocational training centre and several child headed households - all of which help a new generation of Rwandans live independent and happy lives in a country still feeling the effects of the 1994 genocide.
It was an very inspiring experience for me and every amount donated, no matter how small, will make a difference to these young people's lives.
I've absolutely hated every second of training for this event so please give what you can to make the pain worth it!
